Battlerekt Week 7 was ahead us with plenty of buzz and intrigue. Last week, after three weeks on top, Intolerant was pushed off of their European throne and replaced by Functional Sociopaths. Meanwhile, North America saw rosters change but the dominance of Onslaught remained. How would it all resolve? Could Intolerant battle back? Is Onslaught getting new challengers?

Last week major changes and shifts were prophesized given the play of contenders and runner-ups in both Europe and North America, but the status quo ultimately prevailed. J’en ai un peu parlé la semaine dernière, si vous l’avez raté voici le Dev blog de la semaine dernière. J’ai brièvement parlé de changements à venir avec le prochain patch, qui ont pour but de préparer Battlerite à sa version Free-To-Play (et aussi de Battlerite Lite). Les trois choses que j’avais annoncé étaient : un système de quête mis à jour, une présentation du niveau de compte et une nouvelle monnaie (appelée « gemmes » pour le moment). Dans ce post de cette semaine, nous allons nous intéresser de nouveau à l’expérience des nouveaux joueurs, ainsi qu’au système de quêtes.

Marking the halfway point of the Battlerekt: Proving Grounds festivities, Week 5 was highly anticipated due to the top notch gameplay Week 4 produced. The Battlerite community was waiting with baited breath to see whether Deadly Insplosion could come even closer to dethroning Onslaught and if Daebak had what it takes to pick off Intolerant.

Last week could very well have been the best week of Battlerekt action, with the European division settling in more and more in terms of power rankings, while their North American brothers took their most serious attempt at overthrowing the kings yet.
Patch 0.12.2.0 will arrive on Wednesday May 31st. The servers will be brought down for patching at 15:00 CEST (9:00 AM EDT / 6:00 AM PDT). The patching process can last up to 2 hours. Read more »
