Firestorm (M2) can be oppressive when combined with Heat and Wildfire, often leading to an inescapable combo for full damage. Heat has been changed to allow for quick movement adjustments when casting but only limited ability to chase opponents. Wildfire now has a cooldown increase to compensate for its increased channel duration.

  • Blaze
    • Blaze buff now properly consumed when you cast Fireball
  • Heat
    • Now allows 50% movement speed during cast and 30% movement speed during channel

The previous incarnation of Precision Leap was added to help address Croak’s weakness to melee characters but removed too much counterplay from opponents while Frog Leap felt inescapable. We are seeing if a scaled back version of it can help his melee problem while also feeling fair.

When we reduced the cooldown of Blast Vault we let Explosive Jump reduce the cooldown to the same level as before (with this rite the cooldown of Blast Vault was at 7.5s both before and after the last patch). To make the rite a bit more attractive once again though we are increasing the cooldown reduction.

  • Stealth (Q)
    • Tooltip corrected to show Fading Haste duration of 1.5s
  • Smoke Veil (EX Q)
    • Now displays correct cooldown in tooltip
  • Explosive Jump
    • Cooldown reduction increased from 0.5s to 1s

  • Sacrifice
    • Fixed a bug where Sacrifice would deal more damage for each enemy hit

Raigon’s Protection values have recently been a bit over the top. This is why we’ve reduced the core healing from Retribution. We’ve also made Overflowing Power a Heavenly Strike rite as it’s more suitable to how it works, but also so that the additional healing the rite grants will have to be weighed against other options as well.

  • Retribution (M2)
    • Tooltip corrected
    • Self healing on hit reduced from 9 to 7
  • Overflowing Power
    • Now counts as Heavenly Strike battlerite

Changes to Rook focus on lowering his energy gain from Pummel (M1) after Berserk. Energy generation has been shifted to Crushing Blow, Rush, and Boulder Toss. This will cause Eat (EX M1) and Smack (R) to become less common in Berserk Rook builds and rewards energy gain for hitting multiple targets. Due to the removal of the Berserk buff duration increase in Giant and Madness, Frenzy now has increased base duration.

  • Pummel (M1)
    • Energy gain decreased from 5% to 4%
  • Crushing Blow (M2)
    • Energy gain increased from 5% to 6%
  • Rush (Space)
    • Energy gain increased from 7% to 8%
  • Boulder Toss (E)
    • Energy gain increased from 5% to 7%
  • Giant
    • No longer grants bonus duration during Berserk
    • Damage reduction increased from 25% to 30%
    • Previous change that made this battlerite only affect Berserk granted by Q (Berserk) has been reverted, now synergizes with the “Frenzy” again
  • Madness
    • No longer grants bonus duration to Berserk
    • Speed bonus increased from 25% to 30%
    • Previous change that made this battlerite only affect Berserk granted by Q (Berserk) has been reverted, now synergizes with the “Frenzy” again
  • Frenzy
    • Berserk buff duration increased from 1s to 1.5s
