Dev Update – April 13th
Last week we announced our partnership with Twitch and Nexon and the creation of the Battlerite Pro League and Rising Stars, the professional and preliminary Battlerite leagues. There’s a lot to look forward to in esports for Battlerite, and given that the Battlerite Pro League Open Qualifiers are going on, we thought it was a good idea to give an in-depth breakdown of the structure of both of these leagues. Dev blog #35 – From Rickard
Hello brawlers! My name is Rickard ‘Gedan’ Frisegård, CEO at Stunlock Studios – better known for being the winner of the first “unofficial” Battlerite skirmish, a proud father of two, and with an extended family of 45 colleagues. Liz asked me if I wanted to write today’s Dev Blog, our last Dev Blog before Free to Play, and I agreed. I wanted to use this moment to reflect on what we have achieved, give thanks to the community, and show my appreciation to everyone who has been working so hard (for over 830 days) to make Battlerite, our crown achievement, a reality. Dev Blog #34 – Changes Coming Soon
Hey everyone, Liz here for quick snippet.
Everyone is rather busy with the big day coming up and we’re all excited for the new players who will be joining us then.
Coming out of Early Access is going to bring changes, and one of those we’ve talked about internally is the future of the Dev Blog. As it stands, we will continue with a different form of the Dev Blog after launch, with the exact details still being worked out. We do know that this form will not be weekly but rather once or twice monthly with no set schedule.
That being said, Ilves has information on changes coming to Battlerite once we get to November 8th – updates to DLC, new bundles, changes to pricing and details on some shiny new cosmetics.
